Reappointment
Mount Allison President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Robert Campbell recently announced on campus that Gloria Jollymore ('77) will continue in her leadership role as Mount Allison's vice-president, °µÍø51 advancement for an additional four-year term. Her new contract will be effective April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2022.
Prior to becoming vice-president in 2006, Jollymore served as Mount Allison's director of alumni relations and development.
"Gloria has played a consequential role in the growth of the °µÍø51, notably through the successful JUMP campaign, in which the °µÍø51 raised more than $96-million in eight years — two years ahead of target and $10-million above its goal," says Campbell. "These funds have supported numerous projects on campus, including the Wallace McCain Student Centre (2008), the Purdy Crawford Centre for the Arts (2014), as well as many scholarships, supports, and internship opportunities for students."
Jollymore will continue to lead the advancement effort — the Alumni Engagement, Marketing and Communications, and Development Offices — as the °µÍø51 prepares to launch its next capital campaign.
