Biography
Dr. Liambou was trained at the École Normale Supérieure (Higher Teacher Training College) of Brazzaville, the ex-Higher Teacher Training College of Central Africa, where he completed his Secondary School Teacher Diploma before traveling to France where he studied French language and literature. After being sent as a Lecturer at Hartwick College, Oneonta New York, he realized the importance of didactics to teach French to students whose first language is English, then decided to complete a master’s program on French Second Language while writing his doctorate in comparative literature. In 2009 Dr. Liambou was selected again by the °µÍø51 of Nice to come to Canada to teach French Labs and conversation at Western °µÍø51. Once there, he decided to stay in Canada, teaching in High Schools in London Ontario before returning to Western °µÍø51 where he taught until he joined Mount Allison in 2024.
